How Does Aidpage Work

You are correct, there are many programs for food . Have you ever tried to get food stamps? IT IS A FULLTIME JOB!!!! The only places to get help with food is the local churchs, however these places are overwhelmed. So for someone to come on this site and second guess someones credibility is cruel, walk a mile in someone elses shoes my friend. Investigate how bad it really is for some of these people, sure you will find people who take advantage, BUT DO YOU THROW THE BABY OUT WITH THE BATH WATER? There are people out there that need help, often they have to much pride to ask for help, so comments like this could make those in need not speak up, be kind open your heart a bit. It may get steped on by some, but if you help someone who needs it YOU will be uplifted and the person you help will be uplifted. I hope we can all can see thru the veil of doubt and help, those in need. Love your neighbor treat him as you would have others treat you. thank you Geir

I almost walked away from this site myself just now from the last post I read. but I am going to swallow my pride and tell you whats going on with my family.

Just a little background: I (back in the year 1999) was liveing in a barn doing my art work (metal art) had no responsability no cares for want. Then I met this incredible girl she had a heart of gold, she just rocked my world.

We became a fast couple and she got pregnant this upset my whole world . I never knew my father until 6 months before he died so I was not going to let this happen to my children.

I knuckled down got a job kicked some butt and found myself here, owning my own home  doing pretty well. Sure it's been a strugle at times but i have a 7 and 5 year old boys and an incredible woman to keep my spirits up. We came close to losing our home a couple of times, but my family was able to bail us out and did so willingly (Bless them). I am very good at what I do and I am proud of this.

On august 19th i injured my right hand, I went to the doctor he said it's not broken rest it and you will be fine well it wasn't fine a month later I went to a specialist and the tune was different.

I have severe sprang it could take up to 6 months to heal. Now here's the deal I'm the bread winner I make good money now i am unable to do the work that makes me this money that I need to pay for our modest lifestyle. I have been looking for work to fill the void and taken a couple of jobs only to reinjure myself.

So here I am 4 months behind in just about everything, my family is unable to help and we are selling everything we can to make ends meet, what I have to sell is the tools I need for my work, so sell them and feed the family? yup thats O.K. I can always get that back when I'm better.

I have a very positive attitude and KNOW some how this to shall pass. we are in forclosure but have a hud approved non-profit helping us. We are preparing for the worst but are hopefull that things will work out.

Is ther anyone out there who can offer insight, links to programs, anything to help us from losing our home?

Thank you so much for all of those who do the right thing

Much love Geir (Tobies not so better half)

Single Mom Needs Help To Get Car

Donna, there is a program online called "Drive for Free." There is a $30.00 one time fee but then you get access to tons of car/other corporations willing to give you a car to drive with their advertising on it. It's that easy! You are responsible for gas & insurance. They take care of all maintanence on vehicle. You do have to have a clean driving record for at least 12 months. I hope this info is helpful to you. Good luck and God Bless You!

Thank you for your tip about the free cycle on Yahoo! I had no idea...It is an awesome networking tool for communities to recycle stuff amongst themselves!

Tobie's Page

My husband's business has finally started to take off. It was slow growing for awhile but with the new website, referrals from this page, and even word of mouth it has begun to grow.It gives me hope for our future. I finally see a light at the end of the tunnel. Thanks to all that send support, prayers, & advise...Please keep in mind that Geir, my husband, is a  very talented steel fabricator & metal designer and any referrals to the website or photshow would be much appreciated. God Bless!     Tobie
